Coombe Bissett and Homington Village Hall is situated on a hill  overlooking the village with stunning views of the surrounding countryside from  the terrace, which is ideal for receiving guests at a wedding or party. The Homington Room is a smaller room adjacent to the main hall, suitable for small events, has a bar at one end, and can be hired separately.  There is a selection of tables and chairs, enough to  seat at least 120 guests for dining. A small committee room is also available. There is ample parking for a large number of cars, with overspill onto the adjacent recreation field, with permission. Arrangements can be made to accommodate a marquee for wedding on the adjacent field when booking the hall.  It is with regret that the management committee have decided that the hall curtains may not be removed in future. This is because there has been repeated damage to the fittings. All damage caused by hirers will be paid for from the deposit.

If you wish to play music at your event, there are  loudspeakers and an onstage amplifier into which a phone, tablet or laptop may be plugged  using a stereo mini jackplug, for streaming from the internet connection. There is an adaptor on stage for i-phones.  A list of instructions is available. There is no charge for this facility.  The stage may be used for a band or disco at a wedding or party.

There is also a large electrically lowered screen for widescreen films and audio-visual presentations, making it ideal for conferences. The hall has Wi-Fi enabling connection to all internet facilities. The local drama club uses the hall for pantomime and plays. There are two rooms either side of the stage which can be used as dressing  rooms.

There is spacious secure accommodation, disabled persons’ access and toilet, and shower unit, a modern well-equipped kitchen with commercial gas cooker, 2 fridge-freezers,  another freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 hot water urns for drinks,  H&C water and electrical heating. The kitchen is suitable for  commercial caterers or DIY and has two serving hatches to the main hall.  The hall is regularly used by Brownie  packs for "camping" holidays. Adjacent to the hall is a recreation ground and  children's playground. The hall floor is marked out with a badminton court.

The dimensions of the hall are as follows.
Main Hall 14.6m x 8.8m  plus annexe 8.6m x 3.2m
Homington Room 8.7m x 4.7m (minimum)
Kitchen  8.3m x 3.3m

Terrace   6m x 10m
